The BCPO ensures that business continuity principles, requirements and corrective measures are translated into practical guidance and integrated into site processes. By gathering, structuring and validating information from different locations, the BCPO contributes to risk visibility, program governance and the organization’s overall readiness.
The following responsibilities are part of the position:
Developing and maintaining a consistent documentation structure and supporting templates to guide the rollout of the Secure Continuity Program across countries and sites.
Collecting, analyzing and integrating decentralized data and information into the overarching continuity program.
Supporting the preparation and consolidation of reports for country, site and management-level stakeholders.
Planning, organizing and verifying internal and external continuity objectives, regulatory obligations and periodic evaluations.
Monitoring and signaling risk areas and attention points based on evolving operational, environmental or regulatory developments.
Assisting with the validation and verification of formal business continuity documentation, including BCP, BIA, BRP, DRP and risk assessments.
Supporting the definition, assessment and documentation of business processes, dependencies and their relationship to the IT landscape and related processes.
Informing, guiding and assisting local departments in defining continuity considerations, risks and mitigation measures.
Working closely with the Business Continuity Program Manager (BCPM) to drive compliance, resilience and continuous improvement across all locations.

For a Business Continuity Program Officer, Plukon offers a challenging environment where governance meets practice: translating frameworks, risks and regulatory requirements into workable solutions across diverse locations, cultures and IT landscapes. You operate close to the business, collaborate with IT and local teams, and contribute directly to safeguarding continuity in a dynamic, international food production context.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration, risk management, security, IT or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of business continuity and security frameworks such as ISO 22301, ISO 27001, and NIS2 requirements.
Structured and analytical, with the ability to work project‑based and understand the interaction between business and IT processes.
Strong affinity with creating clear and uniform documentation that supports operational teams and ensures consistency.
