As a technical architect, you have to provide the leadership, facilitation, analysis and design tasks required for the development of Plukon’s technical and infrastructure architecture. You have to create deliverables that help develop target-state guidance (standards, guidelines, platforms and configurations) for evolving the technical infrastructure across the Plukon Food Group, in order to enable business strategy and deliver targeted business outcomes.
You enable and orchestrate the delivery of targeted business outcomes through facilitating and making technical decisions. Technologies include data center, infrastructure, cloud, mobile, Internet of Things (IoT), edge computing and immersive experiences technologies.
The following responsibilities are part of the position:
Leads the analysis of the current technology environment to detect critical deficiencies, legacy and technical debt, and recommends solutions for improvement. In addition, leads the analysis of technology industry and market trends to determine their potential impact on the enterprise as well as on the enterprise technology architecture
Coaches, mentors and collaborates with technical subject matter experts to develop technology architecture that enables and drives new business capabilities and operating models
Defines high-level migration plans to address the gaps between the future and current state, typically in sync with the IT budgeting
Assists with designing the governance, assurance and standards activities associated with ensuring enterprise technology architecture compliance of projects and products
Oversees and facilitates the research, evaluation, and selection of hardware and software technology and product standards, as well as the design of standard configurations
Consults on application or infrastructure projects to harmonize systems or infrastructure with the enterprise technology architecture and identify when it is necessary to modify the technology architecture to accommodate immediate or future project needs
Documents necessary enterprise technology architecture design and analysis work

As an IT Technical Architect at Plukon, you work in an enterprise‑level setting where technology directly supports operational excellence, continuity and future growth. You help define standards, guide technical decisions and shape a robust and future‑proof IT foundation across the organization.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience
Knowledge of the components of an enterprise technology architecture
Knowledge of different modeling languages (such as UML and ArchiMate)
Solid understanding of information principles and processes, financial and budgeting models, and network and security architecture
Full-stack knowledge of IT infrastructure, including IT standards and controls
Competencies:
Organizationally savvy, with understanding of the political climate of the enterprise and how to navigate obstacles and politics
Ability to understand the long-term (“big picture”) and short-term perspectives of situations and how they relate to achieving targeted business outcomes
Demonstrated ability to work well with others and be respected as a technology leader
